There are a few things you really should know about me:
1. I have expensive taste, (don’t we all!?) but rarely spend more than $30 on any item of clothing!
2. Since having my daughter, I do most of my clothes shopping online.
3. I don’t have time to dig through thrift stores or garage sales, so I figured out how to save money shopping retail. I typically save 75% or more off the retail price. I love me a good deal.
4. I am not a baker, and I’m not particularly fond of cats. However, I love eating baked goods and I love a good feline print.
I never thought I would say this, but Anthropologie has become my go to store for clothing. I remember stepping into an Anthropologie store for the first time years ago and thinking, Oh my goodness, I adore everything in this store, but geez look at the price tag on that! I could never afford to shop here! You see, sweet friends, that was before I figured out buying super expensive clothes doesn’t have to be super expensive.
Here is a $148 dress that I got on sale for $9.95!
I believe that when we get dressed in the morning it’s an opportunity to be creative. We can all be personal artists in the morning if that’s what blesses you! I’m not good at art on paper…but give me a closet of clothes and I will have a blast creating an outfit.
