We are beyond thrilled!!! I was pretty convinced we were having a boy, so even though I wasn’t surprised when she said It’s a boy, I was still shocked. I don’t know if that even makes sense!! It was such a sweet moment, Travis standing next to me holding my hand, and holding Selah in his arms. We were in the same room with the same technician that did my ultrasound with Selah. Our eyes were both sparkling with joy. Selah hasn’t had much commentary on the subject, but when we ask her if she wants to kiss her baby brother she leans in to kiss my belly.
I never pictured having a boy until I started feeling like this baby was a boy. Now I’m excited beyond words and I can’t wait to hold this little guy who has already stolen my heart away!

Awww, congratulations! We have a little boy (almost 2) and were equally shocked to find out this little peanut we’ll be having is a girl. I keep pinching myself wondering how we got so blessed to have one of each. Such exciting news for your little family! Let the planning and shopping fun begin.
